- As a Product Manager works on identifying value, defining roadmap, product adoption, cross pollination and feature upgrades.
- Taking lead of teams as the Product Owner.
- Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and create requirements whenever needed.
- Planning and prioritize product feature backlog and development.
- Assessing value, develop cases, stories and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value.
- Working closely with management to maintain a product backlog according to business value.
- Leading the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
- Providing an active role in mitigating roadblocks impacting successful team completion of deployments.
- Researching and analyze the markets, the users, and the roadmap for the product.
- Following competitors and other products related to his portfolio.
Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge and helps organization to gain the competitive edge.
Interacts with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
Works with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products.
Possesses a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
- Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.
- Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.
- Demonstrates expert persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
- Owns the release and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.
- Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
- Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
- Demonstrates strategic expert level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
- Engages frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
- Translates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
- Partners with Development Leadership to ensure healthy development process.
- Develop strong domain understanding such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Marketing, etc while working with business partners
- Mentors junior team members; Provide technical leadership to TPMs across organization.
- Expert in Agile Methodology: Coaches others.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage a backlog of global priorities across multiple stakeholders and departments
- Maintains a release plan and high-level roadmap providing insight to stakeholders of upcoming development
- Plan product launches.
- Help design product solutions.
- Maintain a list of product features.
- Identify product key developments.
- Analyze risks and cost-benefit ratios.
- Manage product user experience (UX).
- Stay up to date in terms of digital product best practices (standards, security, integration, data requirements, etc.).
- Manage product upgrade or deletion.
Case Development
- Write user stories.
- Write use case.
- Document product usage, define the test strategy and validate the product.
Product Deployment
- Work with Business Analyst in product-need matching.
- Help with functional analysis.
- Measure product deployment success.
- Apply product adaptations.
- Transmit product improvements to the Digital Solution Developer and/or Deployer.
- Document product usage workarounds.
- Stay up to date with the latest capabilities and features available on the platform
Product Usage Optimization
- Support product training.
- Troubleshoot product usage problem.
- Help with change management.
Product Benchmarking
- Continuously review and analyze competitive products.
- Compare product performance with competitive solutions.
- Train himself/herself in related product category.
- Build comparative presentations.
