Progress Advisor (Experienced Professional) - UEM

Michelin in Emporia is seeking a Progress Advisor who can contribute to our mission of developing and deploying innovative tools and methods. Join our dynamic team committed to achieving world-class standards in engineering and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of the development and deployment of tools and methods that align with our single Progress approach, ensuring the achievement of objectives set by entity managers.
  • **Improve Team Proficiencies:** Foster the independence, integrity, and proficiencies of employees in relation to Progress, ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute effectively.
  • **Drive Industrial Transformation:** Drive the industry's shift towards the MAPP model, striving for Excellent Factory Ambitions and ensuring the production system deployment is in line with Empowerment (MAPP).
  • **Maintain Standards:** Ensure that progress standards and referential are consistently updated and deployed across the Group.
  • **Enhance Performance:** Implement proven methodologies and tools to optimize the performance of processes and entities, while strictly adhering to the highest standards.

Expected Achievements

  • **Application of Progress Tools:** Successfully apply and deploy Progress approach (MW) standard methodologies and tools to improve process performance.
  • **Training and Mentoring:** Train and mentor Progress Specialists and other contributors to apply Progress Tools and methods according to standards with the appropriate attitude.
  • **Network Coordination:** Coordinate and participate in the progress network to share experiences, identify training needs, provide training, and validate recruitment within the métier.
  • **Tool Updates:** Update Michelin Way tools as required based on feedback from the network and Group priorities.
  • Ensure that the MAPP model is supported and implemented effectively in the central Time Zone Industry by Dis. This includes having a clear transformation plan and regularly evaluating production systems.
  • **Implementation in Industrial Activities:** In industrial activities, ensure the MAPP model is implemented or that the OR2 evolution towards MAPP is in progress.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement progress methodologies.
  • Outstanding training and mentoring abilities.
  • Experience in coordinating and participating in cross-functional networks.
  • Ability to update and maintain progress tools and standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the MAPP model and its applications in industrial settings.
