Procurement Senior Executive

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS :

01. Develop, recommend, and manages specific sourcing scenarios based on spend analysis findings, extensive knowledge of the relevant supply markets and consolidated business requirements.

  • Create, validate, and maintain Purchase Orders and records through ERP system.

  • Source, negotiate and purchase materials and services from both local and overseas vendors. Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the projects.

  • Make sure the delivery of goods and services as per project schedule.

  • Coordinate with the project teams and legal division to facilitate for the contracts of relevant projects and execute, follow-up the activities in line with the Procurement related contract management.

02. Manage Letter of Credits process through HSBC online portal.

03. Perform risk assessments on potential contractors and agreements before final selection.

04. Follow-up the shipments to ensure the receipt of goods on-time.

05. Ensure that all assigned supplier contracts are up to date and electronic, paper copies are stored appropriately.

06. Source and on-board potential new suppliers where required, and to follow correct procedures and documentation when engaging registration of suppliers.

07. Negotiates and reviews long-term contracts with suppliers to ensure optimum cost and reliable supply.

08. Support to determine price forecasts for budget cycles.

09. Update and maintain data in procurement related tools and applications to present to the management when required.

EXTERNAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree specialized in Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Science/ Finance or equivalent from a reputed academic body.
  • Minimum 03 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in ERP (SAP) will be an added advantage.
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, Teams).
