THE OPPORTUNITY:

This opportunity is in Lexington, SC at our US7 Earthmover Plant near the Capital City of Columbia. We make the largest tires in the world, and would love for you to join our growing Team of nearly 900 employees. Lexington is the perfect location as we are close to the beautiful campus of the University of South Carolina, and less than 3 hours from the beach and mountains.   Recreational activities are abundant as well, with Lake Murray nestled in our backyard. You’ll love our climate, our people, and our Company.

We have an immediate opening for a Process Evolution Technician, whose responsibilities are to validate new processes or process changes in order to improve tire, or the industrial site activity performance. She/he will also be responsible for documenting any process changes, and for the assessing the modified processes in the industrial context.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Validate process evolutions with respect to the projects’ timelines and quality referentials
  • Anticipate and mitigate the risks of not attaining the expected performance levels.
  • Define the technical standards and specifications for the new process evolutions.
  • Offer process technical expertise and provides long-term contribution to the development of the skills of employees working in the Area.
  • Contributes to the definition of new work methods following the process evolutions

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and process/product relationship knowledge.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Familiarity with quality protocols and an understanding of ISO requirements is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
