THE OPPORTUNITY 

Join our digital transformation journey as an on-site Industry 4.0 Manager. This role will help shape the future of manufacturing by leading Industry 4.0 initiatives and driving data excellence across the plant. As a leader, you will work with teams to implement digital solutions, improve data quality, support business priorities, and unlock value through data-driven decision making. This is a highly collaborative leadership role that combines strategy, project management, change leadership, and data governance to accelerate operational performance and innovation. WHAT WILL YOU DO 

  • Lead the site's Industry 4.0 and data transformation strategy, aligning initiatives with plant priorities and business objectives. 

  • Develop and manage the plant's digital transformation roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards. 

  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, information technology, quality, and operational teams to find opportunities that improve efficiency, performance, and value creation. 

  • Oversee the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Factory Data Lake and related data platforms. 

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, accessibility, and consistency across plant systems while supporting enterprise data initiatives. 

  • Build awareness and adoption of digital tools by promoting training, communication, and change management activities throughout the organization. 

  • Lead and support local Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Administrators while fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. 

  • Monitor digital transformation progress, manage risks, and establish action plans that support sustainable operational success. 

  • Serve as the primary site contact for plant-generated data, collaborating with internal and external customers to support business needs. 

  • Promote data governance practices, security requirements, and intellectual property protection standards across all digital initiatives. 

WHAT WILL YOU BRING 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field. 

  • Experience leading digital transformation, Industry 4.0, manufacturing technology, data management, or operational excellence initiatives. 

  • Solid project management skills with experience leading multiple priorities, teams, budgets, and timelines. 

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data architecture, data lakes, industrial data platforms, and analytics solutions. 

  • Experience working with manufacturing systems, automation technologies, industrial connectivity, or smart factory environments. 

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions for diverse audiences. 

  • Good communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage team members at all levels. 

  • Demonstrated success leading teams and driving organizational change and adoption. 

  • Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and information management guidelines. 

  • Experience coaching or mentoring technical and business teams. 

  • Certification in Project Management, Data Management, Lean Manufacturing, or related disciplines is a plus
