KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

    As a Product Owner

  • Monitor development team delivery and testing scope coverage with respects to timeline; work closely with the tech team on implementation, to ensure that the product meets the specified requirements and create success metrics
  • Develop and manage the roadmap for the platform and ensure adherence to the roadmap objectives
  • Vision and Strategy: - Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and goals for the design system. - Align the design system strategy with company objectives and customer needs. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the design system serves various product teams effectively.
  • Collaboration and Guidance: - Serve as the primary point of contact between the design system team and backend/project teams that consume the design system. - Foster strong collaborative relationships with backend/project team members, including developers, designers, and product managers to ensure their needs and feedback are incorporated into the design system. - Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to align on priorities, share updates, and gather requirements - Act as an evangelist for design consistency and efficiency, providing guidance and best practices
  • Feedback Loop and Continuous Improvement: - Establish and maintain a feedback loop with backend/project teams to ensure the design system evolves to meet their ongoing needs. - Analyze the usage of the design system within different projects to identify patterns and opportunities for enhancement. - Incorporate backend/project team feedback into the design system roadmap and backlog prioritization.
  • Adoption and Training: - Lead workshops and training sessions to educate backend/project teams on using the design system effectively. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and resources that assist project teams in consuming and contributing to the design system. - Champion the benefits of the design system across the organization to encourage adoption and consistent application of design principles
  • Backlog Management: - Prioritize design system work effectively, balancing new components and improvements with technical debt and bug fixes. - Maintain a well-organized backlog of design system enhancements and ensure clear communication of priorities and timelines.
  • Implementation Support: - Support backend/project teams in implementing the design system, solving challenges, and ensuring high-quality execution. - Ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and up-to-date.
  • Performance Measurement: - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and adoption of the design system. - Use data to make informed decisions about future improvements and iterations.

Analysis and translation of the customer need

  • Understanding the business’ processes within its field and its use cases.
  • Helping the client/business partner in expressing its needs, understanding (through involvement in business activities) and challenging business requirements.
  • Studying the needs expressed.
  • Analyzing the functional, environmental and technical characteristics of the desired type of solution (regulations, organizations, assembly, manufacturing, operating and safety constraints).
  • Helping the project manager in mapping technical and functional risks and estimating their importance.
  • Analyzing technical proposals to help the client choose by validating with the WebOp team that the DCAD requirements for hosting, security and confidentiality of data are met.
  • Advising and validating the solution and the development modalities with the customer (make or Buy).

  • Strong understanding of UX design principles, accessibility standards, and front-end development.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to collect and interpret data from various sources.
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions and workshops with project teams.
  • Experience with user research and usability testing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a common goal
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and creating educational materials for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to understand the technical constraints and possibilities.
  • Experience with version control systems and design software integrations.
